Turning an MVP into the system lift companies run on.
Hired to refresh the technician app, I stayed as the senior product designer in Mainteny’s core team through funding, vertical leadership and expansion.

01 — In short
Challenge
An MVP for lift-maintenance companies had to cover the whole job — scheduling, field work, quotes, invoices — while the company raised its seed round.
What I did
Set up a design process and a value matrix, then designed the money and planning flows and a web AI assistant that answers calls, drafts quotes and schedules jobs.
Result
Mainteny leads the lift vertical. Its customers invoice €15M a month through flows I designed, about €180M a year.
€180Minvoiced a year through flows I designed
18k+jobs a month
100k+assets managed
+114%ARR growth during my 4½ years
64%DAU/MAU, an all‑time high
Invoicing, jobs and assets are Mainteny’s own figures on mainteny.com, October 2026. €180M a year is their €15M a month × 12.
02 — Decisions
Four calls behind the numbers.
Rank every feature by value before designing it
A value matrix turned a growing wishlist into one queue for product, developers and founders.
Ship the calendar on time; route planning gets its own release
Day, week and month views kept the Q3 promise. Dispatchers reorder jobs by hand until routing data exists.
Holidays follow the company; employees can override
About 90% of employees inherit the company’s region; the rest get one explicit setting.
One AI assistant across the whole job
It answers calls, drafts quotes, schedules jobs, sends invoices and orders material: the work of all five AI agents on mainteny.com.
